Hi there, welcome to my homepage! I built this webpage to post my activity, records, and other interesting events that happen in my life and I don't want to forget.
In a few words, I am Lluís, a student of ETHZ in the Data Science master's and now I am doing the Master's thesis at Sony. I consider myself a problem-solver and want to use my skills for a better future for my family and friends.

Sony | Stuttgart Laboratory 1, Stuttgart, Germany
Master's thesis on Multi-Objective Optimization GFlowNets.
Collaboration with the Deep Generative Models lab of Sony, Tokio, in the proof of bounds of Consistency Trajectory Models loss. Keywords: GenerativeAI, Reinforcement Learning, MCMC methods
January 2023 - August 2023
Akina AG | Zürich, Switzerland
Worked on transformer-based models for online action-recognition and motion analysis models.
Keywords: Transformer, Computer Vision, Privacy-Preserving models.
September 2022 - January 2023
Kaiko AI | Zürich, Switzerland
Helped the company Kaiko AI in the course Data Science Lab
• Worked on tissue classification for cancer detection, achieved comparable results to SOTA
methods
• Digged in Survival analysis and image segmentation
March 2022 - September 2022
Hilti | Schaan, Liechtenstein
Different Data Science and ML projects.
• Designed and created an ML pipeline in Python from the ground up: data preprocessing,
feature engineering, and model selection to and the best geometrical and physical parameters
of a new generation of drill-bits in order to optimize their performance
• Researched and implemented the Bayesian Additive Regression Trees model to improve previous
models for a crucial dataset of the company, leading to a similar level of accuracy but
providing a measure of model uncertainty. Presented the results to the Technical DS Exchange &
Community, a Hilti forum to share the most exciting results of the quarter
• Performed data analysis in one of the key manufacturing processes. Identified and developed
different use cases that helped the company improve lot quality and refine manufacturing
process
March 2021 - May 2021
Qiagen | Barcelona, Spain
Performed several data analysis and data science tasks.
• Designed and built an SQL-based Grafana server to control the main manufacturing process
KPIs. Ideated and implemented machine learning algorithms to predict future failures
leveraging time series models
• Revamped an R program originally designed to control the leak test, re-enabling the company
to instantly measure possible leakings, leading to a time reduction of 5 man-hours per week
and an improvement in output robustness
• Upgraded the main C# application that controlled the manufacturing process, reducing
computing time by 8%
